 I read this novel two years ago today, and once I reached the end, I picked it up again for a week's time to read. Banu Qudsia's novel Marakkalara was published in 1981. According to its title, the novel is a mixture of two words,  Raja Gidh  and Gadha. In which Raja is king and vulture means dead bird. Banu Apa has taken Raja vulture as a symbol that vulture eats dead bodies, why does it eat? Is it part of his nature? Did man's mail make him accustomed to it? The subject of this novel is taken as a symbol of the instincts of some human beings, the characteristics of the vulture that eats the carcass. The story as a whole revolves around a number of theories. One is Freud's theory of human instinct, where human appetite must be fulfilled in any case.
